Paul Murdoch Architects is a professional corporation based in Los Angeles, California. Paul Murdoch founded the firm in 1991 after ten years of professional practice. Milena Murdoch joined Paul Murdoch Architects as Vice President in 2001, after sixteen years of professional experience as a project architect, manager and designer. The firm specializes in architecture, urban design and interiors for higher education, governmental, and residential building clients.

The firm’s work explores today’s environmental imperatives through architecture practiced as a historically vital process and art form. The firm’s design philosophy seeks creative expression through the revealing and enhancement of latent, innate qualities unique to a site, client and program. Prior to the creation of the US Green Building Council, the firm established sustainable design guidelines for major projects such as the $350 million Staples Center Arena, and acted as an environmental design advisor to the City of Los Angeles.
